Hey the_donald

I’ve missed you guys. I’ve been off the subreddit for years and am disappointed coming back to it seeing that the reddit mods have destroyed it. I voted for Trump in 2016, but since the went wayward and got involved in local democratic politics. I was supporting Bernie Sanders for the nomination of the Democratic Party this year, as I liked his vision and also wanted to hear more from him facing Trump. Of course, he got screwed over and many are rallying behind Joe. I am not one of those people. I have no reservations about voting Trump, and never stopped liking him. I was just dabbling in different ideas. So I guess you can say that I am coming home. I will be voting for Donald Trump in November for President of the USA, and I will feel proud doing it. My colleagues can all continue to whine but the fact is they are nominating a man with dementia.

Note that I’ve censored some identifying info as I’d not like to be outed for this.

Welcome back! Out of curiosity, what is the mood like in the local dem party? Do they think Biden has a shot or that hes even sane? Any whispers of a dark horse candidate or VP pick?

My local party was big on Elizabeth Warren, with the County Executive and many progressives backing her to the end. Most who declared went to Biden, others have been strangely silent.
