After not endorsing Trump at the convention in 2016, I didn't think I would ever support Cruz again, but if he keeps this up I could definitely change my mind.
Cruz is a smart guy, that's all this is. He saw the response to his total bitch move at the 2016 convention and did a complete 180. It was political suicide to do anything else, and he knew it.
I still don't trust him honestly. The whole "never trump" stance had no future (as shown by Mitt Romney) and Cruz saw it coming from a mile away. He knew his only chance at ever being elected an R president was to get on the Trump train and so he did.
Cruz is WAY too smart for me to take his recent improvements at face value. If he was dumber I'd buy it, but I'm not convinced yet.
