As a woman, this is absolute bullshit. If I have to have a tooth pulled, I see the x-ray, have a tumor, see the x-ray, break a leg, see the x-ray. We're supposed to be the "strong sex", able to do anything, yet you can't look at a baby in the womb before you kill it. It's a medical procedure by their definition and medical procedures require that you SEE THE X-RAY!!
I had a vaginal ultrasound at 10 weeks to confirm that I was pregnant with my son. It's the simplest thing and no more invasive than a basic pap smear except you have a screen and you see your child.
"The six Republican and Democratic women of the senate decided to walk out in protest. It wasn’t planned, but a spontaneous decision to put an exclamation mark on our concerns about the invasive nature of that bill,"
I hate when Republicans virtue signal with authoritarian laws around social issues. It drives moderates towards Dems. That's how we fucked up for twenty years - losing on every "social" issue because we wanted to virtue signal about gay marriage, abortion, and weed. I don't need some bureaucrats mandating a philosophical point they want me to believe. And then ultimately enforcing the laws at the point of a gun if we don't comply.
And that’s exactly why the conservatives have struggled amongst younger voters. I resent the emphasis on social issues as a Generation Z voter because it will screw me over if we end up turning communist because people my age voted for bad candidates.
You mean if the Nazis had been required to view Jews as human beings who deserve to live? Way harsh law.

Mormons are pro abortion?
Because it is FFS
Symbolic at best. Their 6 votes meant nothing as they were 9 votes down.
Addition: The proportion of the men’s vote was what you would expect at 16-7. Using this ratio there should have been 2 women that voted yes.

"Ultrasound is too invasive!!!" Reeeeee 🤪
So shoving a vacuum hose and some choppy chop scissors up in your Virginia isn't invasive?
Sure it wasn't planned! 😂😂😂

Abortion isn't a social issue. Its murder.
Bingo
