Outside the United States, most Muslims you meet are good. I helped one from Malaysia just the other day set up her business on Tripadvisor. She was unbelievably kind. She gave me a free meal, constantly thanked me, and asked how I was for weeks afterwards. I mean truly the nicest person you'd ever meet. At the same time, there are stories like that one clueless woman a year or so ago who backpacked through a bunch of dangerous Muslim areas to prove it wasn't so bad, and she ended up getting raped and having her head cut off. The situation is nuanced and I wish more Americans saw more of the world and understood this nuance.
