Have there been outbreaks of other diseases in nursing homes that have killed similar numbers of people in the past? Is that a relatively normal thing to happen in random nursing homes throughout the country during flu season?

Maybe they could also give us a chart with confirmed cases of the actual flu by state to stack up against these numbers?
