Tom Araya (the frontman and bassist) is a Christian Conservative (I'm almost certain of the politics) and he definitely is the most based out of the bandmates. Kerry King (lead guitarist) hates religion, especially Christianity. Dude is kind of an asshole. Gary Holt (rhythm guitarist) hates religion and Trump with a passion, dude is fucking cuck. I won't forget that back in 2016 he instantly brought up the election during an interview and went on a tangent. Dude has TDS. Paul Bostaph (drummer) don't know anything about him personally. How Tom Araya put up with people like this for 30+ years I will never know. Gary and Paul both aren't founding members but still, the guys before them weren't based either.
Catholics are Christian. I'm Methodist but I'd say we are both considered Christians.
I see what he's saying at what you are saying. Is following is strict Roman Catholic doctrine truly Christian? It's certainly questionable. Are there Catholics who are truly saved in their hearts? Absolutely. This seems like a contradiction, but look closer, it's much more complex.
Yeah some Roman Catholics are really weird people. I don't think Mary should be worshipped like Jesus, the whole thing with saints is odd, their priests diddling kids, their Pope being a communist, and not being able to read the Bible (where the Church wants to read TO you).
Holt isn't one of the founding members and Slayer is probably more of a job for these guys these days.
You didn't even read my whole comment. I literally said he isn't. Believe me, I've studied Slayer thoroughly. Slayer basically died when Jeff died. Then the nail in the coffin was Dave leaving again.
