Seriously. Its like half the people here dont understand how basic fucking math works. A week ago people were joking "Oh boy its 40 cases real big issue".

Now its "Oh its only 1200 cases."

yes yes yes it will go higher exponentially until it peaks then declines. When it is finally over as a poster above said a graph of infections will look like a bellcurve.

What you mistake for our ignorance of math is in my case a strong background in statistics. you are focused on the exponential rise part of the bell graph.

None of us know for sure when the exponential rise in new cases will peak and then decline.
