The Economy hasn't taken a hit. It's global panic caused by the Russian/Saudi Arabia row, and the global panic caused by what is increasingly seeming like an epidemic. Neither of which Trump, or indeed the United States, can do anything about.
Trump has done all he could do with the Coronavirus, and is a lot better than what Obama did with his multiple outbreaks.

Trump should put tariffs on Saudi and Russian oil. Use American fuels.
