Just found out my 79 yr old Mother has been diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Shes a strong woman but has become weak according to my dad. Dont know yet what stage or how advanced but theyre recommending chemo. I live across the country from her so traveling to see her is going to be tough but some overhyped bat flu wont stop me. If you're a praying person keep her in your thoughts. Also fuck the main stream media. There are far more serious issues to deal with.
My father had to have emergency open heart surgery not too long ago. I understand how awful the distance & the “not knowing” of such things can be. Your mother, father, you, your family, friends, & the medical professionals taking care of your mother are in my prayers right now & will continue to be. Go full OCD germaphobe on your trip home to avoid the Wuhans & don’t forget earplugs to avoid the China virus propaganda channel. Much love on you, Pede.
