Just found out my 79 yr old Mother has been diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Shes a strong woman but has become weak according to my dad. Dont know yet what stage or how advanced but theyre recommending chemo. I live across the country from her so traveling to see her is going to be tough but some overhyped bat flu wont stop me. If you're a praying person keep her in your thoughts. Also fuck the main stream media. There are far more serious issues to deal with.
Praying for her full recovery, Pede. You might suggest she listen to the Joel Osteen podcast, he speaks of how to be healed with faith and praying God’s word. Joel’s mother was diagnosed with cancer 30+ years ago and she reminded God of His promises and thanked Him (in advance, with faith) for healing her. She made a full recovery after being told she had weeks to live. Here are a few links you may want to pass onto her, and the podcast is available for free on the App Store. Highly recommend she listen, I have learned so much and his messages are so inspirational.
