Tucker really isn't that good at debating. either that or he doesn't try very hard on his show. I've seen him lose to liberals at certain points during arguments before. That's something that never happened to Bill O'Reilly. I think Stephen Colbert would wipe the floor with Tucker Carlson bu Bill O'Reilly could wipe the floor with Stephen Colbert..

Fox is the gateway drug, it eases them in. Then they hear Tucker and do their own research hopefully stumble upon Breitbart and OAN.

My favorite Pho joint recently switched from CNN to OAN.

I feel like the media is "taking orders" from China to overhype & somehow blame President Trump, even though the virus is 100% China's fault.

"IT's RACisT TO Blame A FOreIgn cOuNtry Like chinA FOR A fOrEIgn-BORn VirUs" - Fake News/Democrats

Basically propaganda all day, all night. The socialist (post-communist) leader before Orban in Hungary said something along the lines of "we lie in the morning, in the noon, in the evening" which got his entire party ripped in shreds and put in the garbage bin of history within a few weeks.

I think the insane left's actions over the past 4-5 years fire a bright light around the entire world to see to what degree leftists can go to seize power by all means necessary - including relentless and persistent bullshitting.

More like Q2 reports are gonna look so bad that it will make Q3 growth look so good by comparison. Q3 comes out days before the Nov election. Sorry CNN, you already called this Trump’s economy

Liberals at work today were literally cheering when they saw news that Trump might have the virus. I fucking hate liberals

mugatucrazypills 23 points ago +23 / -0

Report them to HR. Tell them you heard them threatening death of public officials and using covid as bioterrorism. It needs to go on their file and fuck their career in the give forever.

Don't forget to mention that you love Uncle Biden and want everyone to be safe and are transitioning and all their talk is making you feel unsafe.

3
bloodyminded 3 points ago +3 / -0

I know you're joking, but this is the answer. They set the rules, we need to find ways to turn those rules against them. It's really that simple.

27
HockeyMom4Trump 27 points ago +27 / -0

They are doing everything they can to destroy the economy so during the debates Trump can't talk about our stellar economy while Biden stammers and drools.

Well, jokes on them. Economy will rebound and we will look back at this like we did after Y2K when everyone invested in a bunker and 8,000 canned goods.

Dumbasses.

Lol. Which is farther in the toilet? CNN ratings or airline stocks?

7
Fredo_Cuomo 7 points ago +8 / -1

American Airlines was pacing positive March 6 open to march 11 one hour before close - so definitely CNN

Southern_Belle 12 points ago +12 / -0

I'd make the CNN logo either smaller or translucent so we can see the expression.

Not everyone is familiar with this meme format.

Otherwise, nice!

AT&T needs to cut this shithole loose and IPO it so we can see just how good they are at losing money!

Time Warner owns CNN not Att, but anyway cut em' loose and let them sink.

ATT bought Time Warner in 2018.

CNN went from complaining about Trump not calming the nation all yesterday. Then Trump had his address to the nation.....now it's Trump is responsible for not enough tests.

Chew_Monster 3 points ago +3 / -0

The TVs are still on even when airports are empty.

Even packed, maybe 1 guy is watching at a gate. Who’s probably just high, staring at a flashing light.

3
MeatloafFvck 3 points ago +3 / -0

If CNN is on in an airport and there is no one there to see it - is it really on ?

epium 3 points ago +3 / -0

I still dont get it how these ratings work. I hear "Oh, we don't track what TVs are watching, it's all based on extrapolations from voluntary Nielsen ratings..." Like of course they are tracking each TV. They track everything else. Which is it?

1
NuclearDreams 1 point ago +1 / -0

I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that people who still have a Nielsen device hooked up probably don't use DVRs.

Their numbers are wildly overinflated. Which is a shame because cable could become popular again if they ditch the shitty programming and focus on things people are actually watching. But it's all voodoo science and guesswork at this point.

3
dildo_baggins 3 points ago +3 / -0

I’m sure they have no problem kamikazying themselves. Anything to get Trump for them.

There was going to be mass hysteria with or without CNN. There was mass hysteria over the flu epidemic of 1919/1920, and there was no CNN back then.

2
Herecomedatpresident 2 points ago +2 / -0

The flu epidemic actually killed SHITLOADS of people.

2
Cloudy_mood 2 points ago +2 / -0

I heard it was from a parade. Think about that.

A parade of death.

2
txladyvoter 2 points ago +2 / -0

True that!

2
CaptainChrisPBacon 2 points ago +2 / -0

So everytime a flu bug hits we are grind to a halt the American economy. Stop playing sports hoard toilet paper and live like socialist venezuela? Stop being so stupid and lapping up the Fake News Industrial Complex plot to destroy America.

2
LostViking1985 2 points ago +3 / -1

You know who also played themselves? China. They were probably hoping to unleash this virus to fuck us over, and now Trump has the perfect excuse to shut down travel from China, and blocking goods shipments from China - right on the heels of Chinese New Year, followed by the virus wrecking their own society.

You think our economy took a hit recently? Theirs is reeling.

2
HiddenDekuScrub 2 points ago +2 / -0

I'm pretty sure they haven't cared about ratings in years.

2
qbeam 2 points ago +2 / -0

CNN pays big money to have the contract at the airports. Not only that, as part of the contract, they have to pay for the televisions and any upgrades or replacements that have to happen when a television goes out of service. Quite honestly I don't know how they have enough revenue coming in to support such a venture. Literally most of their viewership is largely in part due to a forced audience.

I travel a lot and cant stand seeing that network plastered all over the place. I once watched a middle age lady watch CNN on the plane for the whole 4 hour flight.... her brain must be mush

1
H335 1 point ago +1 / -0

I honestly don't think CNN is capable of making rational or logical programming or business decisions anymore. I don't understand how they continue to have sufficient ad revenue to stay afloat since billable minutes are based off ratings share in key demographics.

-1
canadianhere -1 points ago +4 / -5

The fact that people believe airports factor into ratings is quite amusing to me.

Edit: Wow, downvoted for truth. I guess we're still redditors at heart after all!

Listen, dumbfucks. Ratings are determined by randomly selected families with Nielsen boxes. They're not looking at what EVERYONE is watching, nor can they.

2
leing15 2 points ago +2 / -0

I don't know if airport TVs count for ratings, but if they do, I happen to think that there is always some people travelling and those airport TVs would probably be turned on anyway, so the fact that most people aren't travelling at the moment wouldn't make a difference.
However, Nielsen boxes are NOT the only means Nielsen Media Research collects data for TV ratings anymore. Nowadays, Nielsen also collects data from cable companies and count even viewership through DVR recordings. So what millions of people WITHOUT Nielsen boxes watch or set their DVRs to record also count to determine TV ratings.
