It's important to realize that the reason why it's underreported right now is because over 80% of those infected show only minor symptoms. This would lead a lot of people to coincidentally follow the advice of the CDC/WHO and stay home and drink fluids.

Holy shit you finally asked a good question. Now, take that question and start thinking about those people who aren't showing symptoms. Do you think they are counted in the numbers? Do you think they are factored in when you start talking about mortality rates? No, they aren't.
