Can someone tell me exactly what good it does to test for this? I'm serious. Testing does nothing more than to say whether you got it or not but it doesn't change the treatment at all. Does it give people a warm fuzzy feeling? Cause if that's the case, we're farther gone as a country than even I realized. And any other country can actually do this again and again and again if a virus can shut this country down.
If someone at work has syptoms and the test for it and don't have it the company doesn't have to shut down and quarantine. If there aren't enough tests they will have to shut down out of precaution
I posted in another thread. The gist is that you don't want to do indiscriminate testing because you'll end up with more false positives than true positives. You want to make sure that the people tested have a high probability of having the disease. That way the probability of having the disease given a positive test is high. Or low false positive counts.
If I hear one more time from a media talking head “South Korea has on demand testing for anybody who asks, why don’t weeeee??!” I’m
gonna scream! China, South Korea and other Asian nations are the ones who produce the tests! HOW are we supposed to suddenly get our hands on 328 million tests - just order them from South Korea?? Those countries are using them for themselves. MSM pundits and democrats seem to be under the impression that the US has these very specialized tests for a brand new virus sitting locked up in a warehouse somewhere and Trump and his staff are making sure nobody gets them! The tests have to be MADE! And then there’s the entire challenge of having trained labs to send the tests to for results! For a country of 328 million people!
What are you bumbling about Biden? If you need a test to say you're sick, then you're more sick than you realize. The treatment isn't any different if you have pneumonia from the flu or from Corona. It's just fear mongering.
Can anyone even define what “he’s not doing anything about testing,” means? First, the CDC doesn’t recommend testing anyone who wants a test because everyone will want a test, and that really will overwhelm the system. Second, how long should it take to develop an effective/efficient test kit and manufacture enough to go around?
I asked basically the same thing yesterday and had it deleted by the mods. Thats disgusting if you ask me. I feel like its a valid question just not in the form of a bj for Trump.
Anyway Dr. Fauci said today that the system isn't made for blanket testing. Its made for a sick patient to go to a doctor and have the doctor order a test. We are great at that. I feel like it is indeed a failure of the CDC that they didnt have a plan to do that kind of testing. Dr. Fauci said that the private sector will be able to do such testing very soon. South Korea was right on that blanket testing.
Meir diblasio of New York refuses to close schools at all and is expecting thousands of cases by next week. What is he thinking????
Can we get a new mayor for New York - it's about time
Well Ohio closed schools while saying they have 100,000 cases, while also saying that they don't have any tests. Which is it cause the CDC says that there is only a little over 1,000 cases in the US. This crap is overblown and it just a way to try and take down Trump. I've never seen anything like this in my 62 years.

we have companies that can do testing as well as a vaccine but need to be approved by the fda which takes up to a year
