So let's get a few things out of the way first, I am not worried about the Virus itself. It's not a deadly disease, but a fast infection one. That's it's main issue. It's other main issue is that because of the spread of it all, it causes people to panic and react stupid (Buy extra supplies btw). It's not a sign of the end of the world or anything, but for the next two to three months things are just going to get hectic because of how people react to it.

Naturally, Democratic, Main Stream Media, and Trump haters are going to blame Trump for all this. Ignoring the fact that China is to blame for it all, this is kind of a bad time for this to be happening.

Election season is a trial for Trump because, let's face it, there are a lot of factor still against him despite his success he had. It's human nature to forget the past and focus on the present only and so far people are afraid of the virus spreading more and the economy tanking because of it.

Trump's economy has been his main back bone and if it falters or squanders its a big loss for him and a huge disadvantage. We've already seen it react to the response to the virus, which has got all the haters going "See! This is the great depression 2.0! Donald Trump has destroyed the economy!" When in reality Trump is not responsible for this. The virus effects the world, not just the US and everyone is going to suffer economically from this. At least for a little while I'm predicting that it will slowly steady itself and then rise right back up in the coming weeks/months. By September, I'm sure it will be back to what it once was.

Trump will get attacked by it, but he'll manage to recover it I believe.

Second is how the virus is being handled. First, no matter what Trump does the Media and Dems who hate him are just going to either say he's not doing enough or is being a tyrant so its a lose lose situation on that regard. Do I think more can be done? Of course, but how much is the solution.

The Dems keep saying "medicare for all". Okay, how does that cure people? We don't have a cure and, in fact, most of the people who have the illness are being well treated. The ones that die mostly die from it because of old age or having opre-conditions. Medicare for all isn't going to stop the virus from spreading. It's not going to develop a cure faster. It's not going to do anything. Look, I recognize the American Heathcare system isn't the best in the world, but its not the worst either, but that's a story for another day.

So what is going to happen I think for the next few weeks/months? Trump is going to take some hits from this, there is no doubt, and the media will run with it to make him look bad and try to make the Democrat candidate look good. Bernie Sanders might make some gains because of his "Socialist Healthcare" policy and Biden will just try to look as good as possible. Personally, I think Biden is going to win this one way or another.

Here is the one thing though, Biden looks and acts like a fool. And over time, the more coverage there is of him, the more people are going to see him for a fool and not vote for him (Add in the Never crowds and you get an advantage for Trump). However, with the Virus, Economy, and the mass bashing from the media, I don't think the blowout Trump was expecting will happen now. There are going to be people who will vote for the Democrat choice if they say they will fix the virus and allow means for everyone to get cured or treated.

So yeah, before this I would say Trump had a 90% chance of winning with a huge big number. Now I say its 70%, but this can change depending what happens in the next few weeks or months. Trump needs to do something to keep the faith in him from those who are still undecided.

As always, be prepared to vote and be prepared to anything. Nothing is certain.

Trumps election chances only improve with corona virus in the mix.

Producing things in the USA, and having strict immigration control will make sense to a lot more people now.

What would people rather have, a leader like Obama who waited for 1000 MERS deaths before declaring an emergency? Trump declared an emergency after only 1 death.

People will get to a point where enough is enough, shut the television and media off, and things will get back to normal.

It's literally worldwide 30x deadlier than flu. 3x deadlier than swine flu. The rates of death have held over time...

Globally, the World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that the flu kills 290,000 to 650,000 people per year.

Covid has 2000 deaths. No its fine.

Math... .1% rate of death for flu. US is at 1.6% currently and we are just getting started. It has dropped, but the worldwide percentage has held pretty steady at around 3%...it's actually 3.9% now. To your point, if the rate of infection and deaths keeps stead against flu numbers, it will be 1.2M deaths.
