I had an injury that didn't allow me to work my job for a month but I was still able to drive so I decided to take the time to travel Highway 1 / 101 from Mexico to Canada. I really enjoyed the time spent doing that. God's always present but I feel it's easier at times to hear Him in the quiet, whether driving, taking a hike, etc. Psalm 19 was what I thought about while seeing all the incredible sights on my trip. Sorry your not able to work right now but I hope you have a great trip.
Btw, I like your user name.
"Most English-speaking people ... will admit that cellar door is 'beautiful', especially if dissociated from its sense (and from its spelling). More beautiful than, say, sky, and far more beautiful than beautiful. Well then, in Welsh for me cellar doors are extraordinarily frequent, and moving to the higher dimension, the words in which there is pleasure in the contemplation of the association of form and sense are abundant." -Tolkien
That was fun. I did it from San Diego to Oregon Caves. It was very enjoyable. Hammok camped in the redwoods. Slept near a cliff at point reyes. The vhuews were extremely enjoyable.
