This illustrates a good point. There are 41 deaths. Compare this to Italy who has 1,016 deaths or Spain who have 122.

Ultimately, I see even people here getting propagandized by the "Bloomberg could have given everybody $1,000,000" folks. Compare our cold hard numbers with other nations. Don't fall for spin.

Frankly, the numbers from Italy and Spain aren't that scary either.

For something that's supposed to be so contagious and so dangerous, going around for as long as it has, the numbers are tiny.

I'm fully willing to accept that it's going gangbusters with mild cases, but it seems like it has to be one or the other at this point. It either isn't very contagious or it isn't very dangerous.

Italy was the first country in the EU to be part of China's "belt and road" program.

Iran is also part of the same program.

These two countries took it on the chin because they had thousands of Chinese workers in their country, and they never closed their borders. In addition, the prevalence of smoking in these countries is twice as high as the USA, and that weakens the lungs. Covid is a respiratory infection.
