A friend of mine posted on FB that they're still going on their vacation trip in a few days. One of their friends replied "Be VERY careful everybody where you're going is very sick!!!" to which my friend replied "Dude there are less cases of Coronavirus there than there are in my state."

Their friend's reply started with "DON'T THINK LIKE THAT!!..."

I thought those four words captured the root of so much paranoia very well. And you can't say "Don't think like that" without saying "Don't think."

Don’t buy into the propaganda, but also don’t throw the baby out with the bath water.

Anybody who throws caution into the wind because the media is making a big deal out of it is dumb.

I've got friends from Canada who are thinking of cancelling their trip here in Texas. And I'm like, dude, your city has more people hit than the entire state. You're better off down here.
