A "clean renewal" would not have affected the problematic portions of the FISA legislation, which are not up for renewal, but the renewable sections are leverage to get the problems fixed.

Of course, penalties for lying to the FISA court should be at least as severe as for lying to any other court.

What does it matter what the penalties for lying to the FISA court are if the AG always decides not to prosecute. We have laws and penalties against almost everything that was done against Trump. No one is in jail.

Thats right, and there is not enough non-corrupt politicians left in Washington to hold them accountable. Its past time to deny the Federal Government the right to govern us.
