anyone else notice that these folks pushing universal healthcare have never mentioned the supply side of the equation? this whole outbreak thing should serve as a glaring warning that resources are finite. socialized or private healthcare can only care for so many people...expanding access without expanding the resource can not ever work in practice. its fundamentally retarded.
Everything is free and unlimited! If you have universal health care the beds per capita automatically go up on their own!
We (Belgium) have socialized healthcare and ran out of hospital beds. Don’t fall for it.
The conversations I have had with normies in the Great State of California (mostly Democrats) tell me that they are sick of the fear porn, too. However, they are also being pragmatic, preparing for a short-term, nationwide quarantine that will have the happy side effect of containing the flu, as well.
If we do this right, in a month this will all blow over, and by the next flu season, we will have treatments, and maybe vaccines, for the latest epidemic.

I don't get the socialize medicine/M4A/single payer argument at all. That would not help in a situation like COVID-19 or any other serious epidemic since the one hard and fast rule about that kind of system is long waits, limited equipment and fewer local facilities.
