We need to provide counseling to foxes and teach them it’s not ok to eat the chickens, but more importantly, we need to punish chickens for being intolerant and making these repressed foxes feel uncomfortable.
It is the same as moving in US from state to state. Except you cannot swing a dead cat without it landing in a populated area in Europe, unlike in US, where you drive for hundreds of miles between settlements...
I've been to many places in Northern Europe that were beautiful and almost completely free of human infestation. They were just inhospitable to mortals. (Which is exactly why we Vikings love it so much).
