It's a stupid talking point anyways. The panel on pandemics was there because of ebola which was floating around in 2018 but never developed into anything. It's not a consistent panel that hangs around doing nothing until a situation like this emerges. This just goes to show how they want to inflate government further. Let's spend millions upon millions paying big names in big suits to sit around and look busy for the once-in-a-decade time that they are actually necessary. Calls for more laundering of the taxpayers money and more quid pro quo appointments for politicians to repay their favorite private donors.
