For real, though. I needed to buy some TP today (not out of panic, I actually needed to restock) and I couldn’t find any at every store I went to. Same with bread, water, and milk.

pro tip rip them into 1/4ths or 1/2s if they are the half-sheet type. Lest you clog up your pipes.

A few years ago, when the wife was heavy into coupon shopping, she stocked up on TP such that we didn't have to buy any for a year and a half. Had a large stash of paper towels too.
