my regular grocery store had limit 2 TP items, limit 2 paper towel items, limit 2 hand sanitizer (those are the things I saw). But... they were still all sold out. (Luckily I already had whatever I needed.
However, I was in the grocery store tonight (after doing some "last minute" stocking up this morning)... and almost all the milk is gone, almost all egs, bread, beans, butter, ground beef.... staple type items. I was back in there tonight just to get some candy and random more "luxury" type items (which there were still plenty of those things).
I went to the store this morning and they were out of a lot of stuff. They were limiting the high-demand stuff to 2 packages per person. They are still receiving more shipments, but the store is closing an hour early to restock.
Meanwhile, my friend's wife is completely freaking out and purchased 3 liter bottles of hand sanitizer. I also spoke with a friend of mine that works at Walgreens. They started at 10am with 90 cases of TP. By 1:30pm, they had one case of single rolls left. This is fucking madness!
Seeing the video of people lined up at the Costco to be handed their one package of toilet paper made me wonder if I had just woke from a coma and Bernie had somehow managed to become president get used to this under President AOC
I always have extra at my house... maybe 30 rolls ... always have sardines and smoked oysters... nobody likes them so they never go "Missing" like potato chips do, but they will eat them if they get hungry enough...
Go see what's happened at the outdoors stores. The ammo is gone.

TP is wiped in my entire area. Even Amazon is out of stock.

The paper aisle in our supermarket was closed this morning, because theres nothing there anyway. They had it roped off.

And that's just upstairs... no clue how many MRE's are under the stairs...
Ahhh stop being wasteful, save your toilet paper by using both sides, kids these days!
UNDER FUCKING RATED POST!!!
That pic there looked just like the meat section at Albertsons last night. In fact, Albertsons had less to choose from
Beer aisle was full, clearly these people have never lived thru a hurricane or any other natural disaster. Priorities
I bet many of them were Bernie supporters who suddenly no longer feel like redistributing TP so that everyone gets a fair share.
Kek- I don't think the posters in this thread know where and when the pic was taken.
I think it came from a documentary on life in the USSR. Around the late 80's?
Correct.
I've been cracking the same joke with as many people as I can at the markets, "If Bernie wins, it'll be like this everyday." It makes everyone laugh.
