Trump didnt cut the funding for cdc - he proposed cuts for 2021 but that budget hasn't been approved by Congress https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/trump-cut-cdc-budget/

Also he didnt fire the pandemic response team at the cdc - he fired 1 White House staffer and another staffer left during a reorganization. The staffers were holdovers from the Obama administration "U.S. Pandemic Response Team".

The claim that trump cut cdc funding by 80% is misleading - the funding ran out from its previous allotment and was eventually replaced because congress provided a different funding source https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/trump-fire-pandemic-team/

The cdc still has their team and resources so their fault is their blame - https://www.cdc.gov/flu/pandemic-resources/1918-commemoration/pandemic-flu-fighters.htm

I won't use Snopes as a source whatsoever. Even when whatever they say aligns with us.

It doesnt, it's another misrepresentation.

Snopes misrepresents the argument, then knocks down there own strawman. The response team finished writing the procedures and Trump is following them, including appointed VP Pence.

That's fair tbh - even with these articles they say "true" or "mixed" when both are clearly false.
