The milder strains of the virus are more likely to have already been self-selected, because those with serious symptoms wouldn't be able to travel (regardless of the level of health screening at the airport). If hard lock-downs are imposed, it would further put pressure on the more extreme strains of the virus. Basically, as time goes on, as long as the healthcare systems are not overwhelmed, wuflu is controllable. The bigger problem is how to solve the drawdown on the economy, but let's face it, Trump is in his element on this kind of economic baseball.
