This guy was a member of some Facebook groups I'm in and was a good guy. No criminal record. Got red flagged and murdered in the middle of the night in his own house by traitors to the Constitution.

Guess who's a big proponent of red flag laws.

Bagpipes Barr.

Fuck him, Trump can't fire that piece of shit fast enough.

Thenew23rd 12 points ago +13 / -1

The power senators, McConnell, Graham, Grassley, Burr, etc., generally line up behind swampy AGs and protect them. Trump would have fired Sessions early on except for the senate GOP.

If you’re advertising your militia group on FaceBook, you’re doing it wrong.

Any additional info is most welcome. The article has very little.

Soon people are going to start shooting back or rigging traps for these thugs with badges when they come knocking. Not good!

Do not ever say you want to join a militia or anything online. Everywhere is crawling with glowlies.

CoronaT_Virus 34 points ago +34 / -0

If we’re at that point we need more patriots to step up. There’s two parts to the 2nd amendment. “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State” That’s our right, use it or lose it.

22
Pres-Trump 22 points ago +22 / -0

Gotta hide it man. There are so many instances where they used an introvert or whatever to take down these groups.

26
CoronaT_Virus 26 points ago +26 / -0

I know, still an affront to freedom to have to hide. Gang members are given more rights

18
QuantumRemedy 18 points ago +18 / -0

A militia is an important directive of the constitution but by its nature is in place to protect freedom, not be a protected freedom. Militias have been squashed in this country going back a long way because by their nature, they are meant to protect us from the government which is also also supposed to protect your right to protect yourself against them.

This is more a sign that militias are necessary now more than ever,p but it will always be a right we have to protect and fight for ourselves.

Is that not 'the logic' behind the ability to Nationalize the states National Guard? I recall too well some ill trained National Guard soldiers who got sent to Viet Nam for combat duty. Can you say 'body bag"?

I think the anti-militia trend in DC began with Shay's Rebellion

MustangManny 2 points ago +2 / -0

NY State has a state militia, but is unarmed.

Please keep us informed about this case. The news article provides almost no details. I’d like to see if the complete story comes out, if the police officer is disciplined (beyond procedural leave), and if the victim’s family presses charges. Awful inevitable outcome of an unconstitutional law. These laws need to be challenged on every front. Thanks for the post.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/abcnews.go.com/amp/US/wireStory/lawyer-man-asleep-police-fired-house-killing-69587748

Lawyer says the witnesses claim he was asleep and they shot him from outside the house. I'm gonna wait for body cams but either way, the way they went about this whole thing is bullshit.

23
WTFtrump4ever 23 points ago +23 / -0

This article describes the victim in a way that could probably be any of us. Interests included Reddit, 4chan, gun owner, cryptocurrency, etc.

This shit has got to stop.

I hope someone(s) get the snot sued out of them and spend a lot time in prison.

Why on God's green earth would you link Google's cash grabbing version of the story and not direct to ABC?

1
residue69 1 point ago +1 / -0

Their Google phone or Google browser won't let them.

I have an android and all you have to do is select the text of the address and edit out the google parts, it's not hard.

Officer Rick Goodale, a police spokesman, said in an interview Thursday night that a police SWAT team entered the home where Lemp was to serve the warrant. After encountering Lemp, the officer shot him.

We will break into your home to grab your guns and if we find you we'll shoot you because we've received a warrant from a secret court in which you could not defend yourself.

Sad to say but Bill Barr has been pushing red flag laws from behind the scenes.

Yet another traitor.

MSG1000 4 points ago +4 / -0

All of that sounds fucky but I don’t understand enough of the legalese language though. It sounds like the initiative is about increasing coordination for enforcing existing law. Much of current law is crap mind you, but what sentence(s) am I missing?

sickofaltspin 23 points ago +23 / -0

Looks like spez completely wiped the guy's reddit account, it still exists, but is 2 years old with 0 karma and never a single post/comment.

Keep licking the boots of the cops. Newsflash they are no friends of a free society. And the ones that are can be fired in a flash and replaced by antifa goons. Beware!

Can't wait to see the police body-cam video. Hope it doesn't get lost.

Oh sorry guys, we all forgot to hit record. We were too busy crashing through someone's house at 430am wearing ski masks and carrying rifles.

Cops that killed this guy should be hunted to the ends of the earth.

I hate red flag ERPO’s, but there is nothing in this article to indicate that is what happened here. It said there was a warrant for firearms related violations. Nothing more.

13
GarudaOne 13 points ago +14 / -1

That means it's worse than a red flag incident. A red flag, by definition, is supposed to bypass a warrant because the threat is supposed to be so great that action is needed immediately.

With a warrant, this murder had the full approval of a judge.

He was prohibited and there were firearms in the household. Which could have been owned by any of the other non prohibited residents.
