Also that there are probably many more cases of this virus among us than we are aware of at this point and as a result the death rate is probably a lot lower than what has been reported.
One glaring problem is that he's reporting that 28% of the tests performed in the US are positive. In the WhiteHouse press conference yesterday it was stated that only about 1% of the tests done in the US are coming back positive. I assume he is simply working with old numbers when very few tests were being performed and only on people who were very symptomatic. Using updated numbers on the test-positive rate would probably change some of the assumptions in a big way.
