This same logic can be extended to people not stocking up on food, medicine, and other supplies in the event of not being able to leave your house for an extended period of time, whether cause of being quarantined during a pandemic, or on lockdown cause of the police searching a neighbor's house like how they ordered everyone to stay inside the week of the Boston Bombing.
No, but sorta. It's "downstate" Illinois, which is as red a part of the country as can be, but it's the same town where the U of I is, so it's a rare blue spot in a sea of red. This should be interesting. For political/cultural reference, the first county in the country to declare itself a gun sanctuary is just an hour south of there.
