I get on here to lurk but I didn’t make an account until now and don’t get on here near as much as I did the dom because I honestly hate the mobile site thing and I never use desktop for anything. I wish there was a mobile app.

The main reason I just made an account here though is because I tried to go to r/conservative and it’s nothing but a bunch of cucks and shills and everyone like us gets downvoted to hell which I wouldn’t mind if it didn’t hinder my ability to post and comment on things.

I keep hearing this, what makes the app different and so much better? I guess I've never used it for reddit so dont know the difference

I'm happy enough using the mobile site. The devs have done a great job.

I'd like a mobile app but it's important for everyone to remember it'd never get approved on the Tim Apple AppStore

What would make an app nice:

  • automatically logged in
  • the feeling of it loading faster
  • could restore useful power user shortcuts like double tapping a comment to upvote it instead of having to hit that little upvote button
  • less mobile quirks

But again. The mobile site is still top notch and very usable.

And if you add the site to your home screen so you get an icon like a normal app, it's very easy

instead of having to hit that little upvote button

Goddamn if it isn't satisfying seeing that wall built when you do though
