Ben Carson is a truly wonderful human being and an inspiration to us all. Read about his mother, Sonia Carson, as well. Single mom, barely could read, worked multiple jobs so she wouldn't have to take welfare. She forced Ben and his brothers to read a book a week and write a report on it that she would grade though she could barely read herself.

For Ben's part, he was director of pediatric neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins. Yes, that's right. He performed brain surgery on kids - but hey, no pressure there, right? In addition to pioneering surgery to correct fetal abnormalities. I was sad when Ben lost the primaries but he has done so much, even taking a pay cut to be HUD director.

Perhaps we could see Don Jr/Carson as a 2020 ticket?

Pence/Carson would be the most wholesome ticket. Dems would have to be heartless savages to disparage and attack their characters

Spoiler alert: Dems are heartless savages.

Ehhh, I don't trust Pence. I think he's just another politician who doesn't know how to fight so he makes "compromises" all the time. We need a fighter, like Trump.

Now, I was a Carson fan in the primaries, but that was before I saw what Trump and his confrontational style could accomplish. I don't believe Carson could have been nearly as good as Trump, but he was better than any of the rest. But maybe....just maybe, Carson does have some fight in him. I still like him a lot. I think he's probably the smartest dude inside the beltway, and that's worth a lot. If he decides to start fighting, he could be a great next president.

Pence was gov on Indiana and from what folks I have met there tell me he did a helluva a job. He passed laws protecting businesses from the gay bunch suing them into bankruptcy like that poor guy in Colorado. He took a lot of shit over it and didn't back down despite huge pressure. He and Trump also worked hard to keep Carrier from closing a plant and moving jobs to Mexico. And if he is good enough to be Trump's VP he is good enough for me to vote as president.

But of course if Don Jr got elected in 2024 the salt mining would be too good to pass up! But then again if Pence got elected the gay bunch would have an apoptotic shrieking shitfit meltdown. Decisions, decisions...

Carson was the first one to call out fake news in the last election cycle, not Trump. In my eyes he was the one who toppled the first stone and started the avalanche against the MSM. Of course, Trump took it from there and crushed em.

I was all for Ben in the primaries. I was even bitter when everything turned in favor of Trump. But I'm thankful for how things turned out.
