Lots of pneumonia is neither flu nor COVID-19, and a lot is bacterial, rather than caused by any kind of virus. The above report just sounds like paranoia.

"OGM I was sick a few months ago and totally recovered without issue.. a-a-am I gonna die now? I'm reeeeeeeling!"

This is actually the new panic, I'm seeing it pop up more and more throughout the day.

I will also say that although many COVID-19 patients have nonspecific “ground glass” pneumonia pattern on cat scan of the chest, in a significant number of cases the pattern of COVID-19 (large rounded pneumonia areas) is distinctive and we docs have not been seeing it before this outbreak, outside of patient with risk factors for septic emboli.

Pneumonia with negative influenza test does not mean COVID-19, it means pneumonia, often bacterial or non-influenza viral.

What you actually got was a pneumoccocal vaccine, which prevents certain types of bacterial pneumonia. https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/vpd/pneumo/index.html It has no effect in preventing any viral pneumonia, though your flu shot will help protect you from pneumonia caused by currently prevalent strains of influenza virus.
