The original duties of this officer were "to prosecute and conduct all suits in the Supreme Court in which the United States shall be concerned", and to give his advice and opinion upon questions of law when required by the President of the United States, or when requested by the heads of any of the departments".
Because he's ultimately responsible for prosecuting these traitors. Yet zero of the deep state traitors have even been investigated. Meanwhile, dozens of Trump allies have been thrown in prison on fake charges.

He could have said something along the lines of, "well, I feel that stone's lying merited prosecution.' But no, the prosecution was righteous! Onward Christian Soldiers! Our cause is righteous! Pre dawn raid on old guy with no guns, disabled wife, dog, and no passports....righteous!
Funny that none of the coup plotters who have also been proven to have lied to Congress aren't being prosecuted. I guess those cases aren't righteous. I'm not a Bill Barr fan.

Barr had no problems endorsing the Roger Stone prosecution. That sure sounded like an endorsement to me.
