I mean, HELL, the coincidence HERE is 1) Respiratory Illness. Okay, there's only 3 or 4 kinds of diseases you'd use as a bio-weapon, even fewer if you want something that won't transmit after death. Digestive issue? That'll linger in the shit on every body when the bowels empty. Hemorrhagic fever? Good, contaminated blood EVERYWHERE. Something where the victim dies not being able to intake and process oxygen, isolating the issue entirely inside their body? Ding ding ding! Respiratory it is.
