While it is true that God reaches out to us as much as we reach out to Him, it isn't a hard and fast rule. He can reveal His presence in our lives in more ways than we can expect. Once I learned to quiet my own mind and truly put others before myself... Well, I don't believe in coincidence anymore.
Prayer works folks, even if you haven't done it and done "feel it" at the time, just give it a shot. No one is hurt by it.
