So actors are paid lots of money to pretend. The good ones can even convincingly portray an emotion that they aren’t really feeling.

So at award shows, an actor gets an award for being the best “pretender at showing fake emotions” of the year. And then they unironicly give an acceptance speech that includes some political plee. It’s almost as if they forgot they just got an award for being the best liar of the year.

Paid influencers.

People will show up to see them perform at a political rally, but that’s it. Those same people don’t even show up to vote for the loser candidate.
