Wow a registered open bolt semi auto... now theres something you dont see every day. I wouldve thought they were all converted pre hughes.A few always slip through the cracks though.

I've had it shown to me by a gunsmith during tear down that it's not hard to convert say an AR-15 to full auto, so I really don't understand the significance of open bolt here. Glad we have people that understand this stuff ...

Open bolt is still considered automatic by the atf because it is readily convertible. It's just a rarity really.

Not NFA if pre Oct '82, so its off the books. To be honest its a shit gun, the lag between pulling the trigger to boom is very long. Its appeal for none legal machine gun owners are they are easily converted. As I have a tax stamp for a machine gun(s) there is no point, its all about the rarity/collect-ability of this type of gun.
