Fellow Aussie here! The way our system is set up there is no way it's ever going to change. Both major parties are self-serving and corrupt to the core and are slowly eroding our freedoms each day that goes by. I plan on moving to the states because there is no hope for this country, we were a penal colony to start off with so no surprise.
We don't have a constitution with a bill of rights, our population is completely disarmed because of the gun buy-back. If we had a 2nd amendment as an insurance policy we would stand a chance.
