Little did I know back in college that my [liberal] professors were starting to push this hoax hard (This is in 2000) to the students.
I was BS-ing my way through an article discussion (I hadn't read the article, I virtually never did) and everyone kept going on about how it claimed Carbon-Dioxide was poisoning the environment.
Me, being a logical person, interjected, "Wait, you mean Carbon-Monoxide, right? Because that's what car exhaust is mostly..."
"No", my professor said, "It's carbon-dioxide that's causing the problems, as the article states."
"Carbon Di-Oxide? You mean, the stuff we breath out and plants need to grow?"
"Yes" she said with a weird smile.
They can go fuck themselves. At that moment, though I hadn't looked into any kind of conspiracy stuff or researched anything, the thought occurred to me that these people are insane sociopaths.
