We should take advantage of our new platform and introduce a sub counter on the side bar so we can finally get an accurate number as to how many fellow pedes there are.

Didnt the true subscriber stats get leaked once? The domreddit had like 10x the numbers of number 2 subreddit?
15.8x was the ratio last time they fucked up. Also the filter on the "active" users has crashed a couple times over the summer, including on Independence day, revealing that we had over a quarter million actives. NO other subs had similar behavior.
Upvotes are severely throttled on Reddit too. Initially, it was easy to get upwards of 20 thousand upvotes. Now a couple of thousands tops.

Facts about our suppression: the_donald says 780k subs, and the most popular posts reach 4k-6k upvotes (yea right)
Another sub (videogaming) I'm on has 75k subscribers (10x less than the_donald) and REGULARLY has posts reaching 12k upvotes (DOUBLE the supposed most popular posts on the_donald)

Some of that is because smaller subs’ posts that make it to r/all get huge boosts. But T_D was too dangerous to be on r/all. Wouldn’t want people learning to think for themselves and all.

A lot of people said that was outlandishly high, and it is, if you believe we only had 750k subs.
But if the estimates of 12 million subs are accurate, 400k is only 3% of the total subs active, which is EXACTLY within the normal range for a high activity sub.

There are several small programming issues that could improve things. For instance, when I collapse a parent comment I would like all the children comments to also collapse.
