Democrats in the sham impeachment hearings have tried to cover this by saying the prosecutor was corrupt, and deserved to be fired.

They have also made a big deal about "irregular channels". This is the only time in history that a sitting Vice President has traveled to a foreign country and demanded the firing of foreign government officials as a condition of receiving aid. THIS IS NOT PROTOCOL.
So once again, everything the Democrats have accused the President of with no evidence is exactly what they have done with evidence in the public record.
