I really wish my parents would turn the fucking "news" off. They just sit in front of that damn box all goddamn day getting spoon fed "you're gonna die, we're all doomed, it's all Trump's fault" literally 14 hours a day from 5am to 7pm. You'd think it was airborne ebola from the hysteria. They're talking now about going out to get "a few weeks of supplies" so they've clearly bought into the "we all might be trapped in our homes for a few weeks" panic.

I was visiting my parents the other day and they wanted to turn on the news and I wouldn't let them...they get depressed watching it.
I found an animal documentary for them to watch instead, but I know it's frustrating because they watch when I'm not there.
