I used to pray when I was a little kid. I went through an atheist phase, and only recently started praying again. Even if you're a non-believer, prayer is really powerful and beneficial.
Thank you for saying that. I agree. Often in time of crisis like when loved ones are at risk we feel desperate and despite the doubts we seek divine help. Even though we have said and done evil things in our life, including cursing God and breaking all the moral law and commandments while pretending to be a 'good person' by our own arbitrary standard, in times of intense struggle, we can still turn to beg God for help. What do we have to lose?! Pride, maybe.
Without prayer, how often would we actually take stock of what we're thankful for? How often would we examine our shortcomings (sins) and seek guidance to become a better person? As somebody who didn't pray for years, I never did this. Now that I do this daily, I'm a much better person for it.
So good so far! When they sang "see a victory" it brought tears to my eyes. That song has special meaning to my wife and I, it's no coincidence they sang it
God bless and protect all of Western Civilization, that is what is under attack from all sides. God bless and protect anyone at any level of authority that seeks His face.
Watched it all. Thanks to our President for calling a day of prayer. The pastor he linked reminds us not to allow fear to control us, but also to not live in denial. There are baddies out there, and we must face them head on, and without fear. We are lucky to have such protection and we should use it, instead of procrastinating.
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you. (remember the comment prez maga made about flowing water at yesterday's press conference.)
God bless each and every one of muh pede family...keep you safe and healthy and walking in His love and light.
Brad Parscale canvasses people who pray, zero democrats represented.
To be fair, my liberal schoolteacher younger sister, fully-active Episcopalian, just like our late father (who art now in Heaven with our equally devout mother...he was a clergyman). My sister's husband was diagnosed with an inoperable brain stem cancer some 25+ years ago and still gets around today - albeit with reduced capabilities, she"s prayed daily for him and their challenges, along with their many friends and family. No kind of medicine or technology could cure him. We all believe that prayer has kept him alive to raise 2 great kids, see his 3 beautiful grandbabies, and ease their many burdens during their long and difficult ordeal.
Amen! It's wonderful to see that President Trump is also thinking of our spiritual needs as well as our earthly needs. This is needed more as a country
Is he one of the good ones? I'm really having problems trusting preachers that for some reason or another feel that they have to put on a show like this.
I'm from a small place and I'm trying to find my way home to God, but my area only has one congregation and it's tied to a church that marries gay people so I'm highly skeptical of it being a "churchian" church. The priest seems to be ok though he even used one of his recent sermons to say that if The Bible tells us that something is wrong it's still wrong even if the church bureaucracy wants to tells us otherwise.
But I'm still looking for some more "fundamental" preachers to supplement with. I've been listening to some of Billy Graham's sermons, and I'll look into John MacArthur as well thank you.
For strictly teaching and understanding the Bible. I find no greater teacher than lesfeldick.org. It's a step by step from the beginning to the end of the "Bible, using only the Bible.
That isn't what this guy teaches. Be careful guys, leftist media aren't the only voices to watch out for. People within the church project their own version of Wuhan hysteria, except the goal is to divide God's people.
This Jentzen guy's basic idea when he addresses that particular topic, is that the Lord is trying to give us many things in this life. Spiritual, and yes, material. Faith doesn't conjure up these blessings, nor does it somehow compel God to supply.
It's already there. The "faith" as it pertains to this topic, is that God is supplying, so faith simply opens a person's hand to receive what is already there - putting the focus and praise on the Lord, and not ourselves.
Thank you!!! The last time POTUS had a Sunday National Day of Prayer the church I was attending did not acknowledge and when I asked why they made up some nonsense. Never went back.
I don’t know....my husband isn’t very religious and he came downstairs while this was wrapping up and asked what I was doing. Said it was the National Day of Prayer and he laughed. When he heard the music though, he mentioned that it was really good and then sat down to watch the end with me. Whatever draws them in, I guess. We’ve been laughing and humming that last song all day.
Great summary and I agree with the points you've made.
This is just my personal opinion, but the churches that engage in this "show style" sermon just feel like they lack the discipline and respect that should be given to the scriptures. They lack a certain substance and weight that should be applied to the word. Again, just my personal opinion. If it works for others, then to each their own.

This should be on TV. Instead they would rather anxiety riddled shows talking about how bad the virus is.
at our church here in Florida, we are praying for us all this morning.
"A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones."
Proverbs 17:22
So good so far! When they sang "see a victory" it brought tears to my eyes. That song has special meaning to my wife and I, it's no coincidence they sang it
Tuned in and loving the grace of Jesus Christ flowing through my house!
This is exactly what our Country needs.
God bless our President!
Love this. Been praying everyday for the protection of our President and his presidency. When ever two or more are gathered in his name...............
Tuned in! #MAGA #KAG
Listening and praying right now.
Trump tweeted out that he too was watching this service right now!
God bless and protect all of Western Civilization, that is what is under attack from all sides. God bless and protect anyone at any level of authority that seeks His face.
Faith over fear. Think of this in context of the MSM fear mongers.
Amen!! Turn them off
Would love to have official MAGA gear with “Faith over Fear” on it. Thank you, Based Smooth Jazz Faith and Salvation Merchant!
Play that funky music Jazz Minister! 🎷
Thank you!
America is enjoying the Sabbath that we skipped out on for way too many years.
Smooth Jazz... Praise the Lord!

"Hey, Flanders, over here! I got us some kick-ass seats!
*Not calling you Flanders
Our Little Bitty Church just started posting videos online and on youtube! I'm excited because they sing thr old country hymns!
That was a great sermon. It's exactly what people need to hear need right now.

Faith Based Living is what we all need
Amen!
And mentioned Trump's name at the end! I was hoping he would do that.
Amen! It's wonderful to see that President Trump is also thinking of our spiritual needs as well as our earthly needs. This is needed more as a country
tuned in, Mr President!
Amen
That wa amazing. I was singing my heart out and praying at my house!!
This was so powerful and encouraging, great job to the pastor and musicians.
Praise The Lord, All His People, And rejoice!
Thank You, Mr. President!
Is he one of the good ones? I'm really having problems trusting preachers that for some reason or another feel that they have to put on a show like this.
don't put your trust in the preacher, put your trust in the Lord. The preacher is a messenger, nothing more, nothing less.
Amen.
Yes, but to some extent you need to trust that the messenger is actually delivering a message from God.
"then you read your Bible.
that's where it helps to have read and studied the bible.
Yes, but time spent listening to the bad preachers is usually time wasted.
then read the bible and forget the preachers.
Thank you.

Thank you!!! The last time POTUS had a Sunday National Day of Prayer the church I was attending did not acknowledge and when I asked why they made up some nonsense. Never went back.
Love this. God bless you, Mr. President, and my fellow Americans.
This was great, I’m glad I was able to tune in!
HE IS FOR YOU! ❤️🙏🏼
Watching right now. Trump is one of a kind
Read Jeremiah 12. He referenced a verse heavily at the end of the sermon. The chapter speaks to our days.
This was an amazing service.
Never agreed with church being a rock concert. It just seems so fake.
The Bible says to make a joyful noise unto the Lord! Nothing fake about that
