Yep. Lots of us have been saying since the beginning that the mortality rates are way too high.

It's obvious and easy math. Ratios between dead and confirmed cases are worthless when there's large numbers floating around who don't even know they have it. Since this is a new disease, they have no way to reliably hypothesize infected cases from confirmed infections. The best they could do, is use models from other similar viruses, e.g., H1N1 or SARS. But if they did that, I'd bet, the fatality rate would end up being very, very low.

So much about this whole affair is suspicious, starting from WHOs recommendations against travel bans and its stupid "stigma" bullshit.

Um, yes. You're right to be very skeptical. Been saying for months how much our 'highly trusted' CDC & WHO are hopelessly politicized. Like the FBI, they have many great people in the trenches. But, the highest echelon folks are compromised by private and public sector influences. jmo

Well, if there were millions of unreported cases, that wouldn't 'end the pandemic', but it would make this more or less like a new strain of flu.

Thats exactly how I think of it personally, a strain of flu that attacks the lungs more than the stomach.

The stomach "flu" is a GI disorder wholly unrelated from the upper respiratory disorder cause by the influenza virus.

Definition of pandemic: (of a disease) prevalent over a whole country or the world.

Doesn't have anything to do with mortality rates. It's a pandemic because it's a disease that is wide spread. That's it.

Here’s an article from early on in the H1N1 swine flu where they state current rate 4% but they give a nice qualifier about lack of testing. (it came to US from Mexico) it sucks with corona the media just says 3.6% with no qualifier. They’re causing the panic.

This is speculation, right now.

It's not being reported, because we don't know if it's true. We will start getting real test results from contacts with known cases, next week. Until then, we don't know.

THIS!!! I have been saying this for weeks. People need to wake the hell up and realize that this is a war. period. A different kind of war to be sure, but it's a war none the less. I am unwilling to believe the Liberal Democrat machine is NOT capable of such deception, such willfull deciet. They most certainly are. in spades. They all care about only two things: POWER & MONEY.

Why is anyone trusting the numbers and claims made by China? They've been unbelievable from the very start.
