It's up to the governors, like our system is suppose to work. The federal government isn't there to be dictators.

Yes, this is what a lot of people are missing. The federal government was never meant to enact such a power as closing down Main Street.

Hopefully it stays that way. I for one will be very disappointed if my governor decides to shut things down, at least not without further data than what we have now.

Yep live in Ohio and that damn midget DeWine did that. I have a son who will be losing his job and a daughter in law that was told her job is gone. She is expecting as well so it's stressful for her.

There's the whole problem, all kinds of people losing jobs and absolutely obliterating our economy over a virus that's killed something like 68 Americans. Is the cost of this containment really worth destroying everything else about our country? I think not even in some of the worst case scenarios I've seen.

I'll be happy to review any sources you have regarding male infertility and lung capacity. They can even be MSM sources, but I won't just take your word for it.

There's a lot of questions to be answered if we are going into a total lockdown. Will it stop the virus entirely? If so, how long of a lockdown will it take? What chance is there that after the lockdown the virus doesn't pick right back up? Would the lockdown instead just slow down the spread? That may be a good thing, but what benefits are there from slowing the spread if we still have the same number of cases in the end? How many American lives will be saved (and/or long term health issues avoided) by these actions taken? At what cost to jobs, the economy, way of life, etc? Do these costs outweigh the risks?

These are all talking points that must be addressed if such drastic action is to be taken. Fear mongering, panic, and knee jerk reactions are not the right way to deal with a situation.

people having seizures on the streets and hospitals and dying within 10 minutes

There is some speculation China's intelligence service used the cover of chaos provided by this virus to assassinate dissidents and say "oops look they died of the virus."
