Stoning people to death is also a popular godly principle. Grow the fuck up. The biblical god is a complete amoral asshole and I am far better and moral than him. The quranic god is slightly worse, but exactly as fictional.

Quit being a bitch. There is no reason to begrudge people's faith just because you think you're smarter. That's some liberal ass thinking.

That’s a big statement to claim to be better and more moral than God. May I ask which moral system you are using to qualify yourself as better?

you're getting faith and religion too bound up. even if you're not a believer, you can still have faith that things will work out to a net positive in your life and the lives of your fellow citizens. no God required.

As a non believer a disavow your post. Christian principles have proven to be successful unpinnings to the most advanced society this planet has EVER seen!

I don’t want to be argumentative, but I would pick a different argument to try to “take down” Christianity. “Be fruitful and multiply...” is not an all encompassing commandment, it was given to specific people for the population of the earth and specific lands. So if your are arguing that the misinterpretation of Christianity is harmful, then yes I agree with you. If your coworkers are irresponsibly having kids to the extent that they cannot provide for them then they are in violation of Christianity. The sentiment you feel towards this irresponsibility has already been stated by Christianity in no uncertain terms.

1 Timothy 5:8 “But for anyone who does not provide for his relatives, and especially for members of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.”

I want to make it clear, I do not take issue with whether or not people believe in God and Jesus, but I do take issue with people calling the Bible stupid (not you original commenter Arnied ) and hope to disprove those who would use a straw man argument to “take down” the law of Christianity.

It is an incredibly wise and sadly under appreciated law today that is too easily written off as a “fairy tale.”
