Blows my mind how this whole pandemic is actually pro nationalism and pro closed borders, yet they still blame Trump, the guy who wanted closed borders and stronger nationalism.

It is Alinsky Rule No. 10. They say, "If you push a negative hard enough, etc., etc. . . . ", but what it actually MEANS, and Alinsky just probably did not want to be so obvious, is what Alinsky "borrowed" from Nazi Joseph Goebbels. "If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it (as the truth)." And that is what they do.
