an advisement, i believe, though it sounds like he is planning to enforce the. restrictions on businesses.
regarding ppl 65 and over leaving the house, it has to be an advisement. theres no way it cld be enforced, even if it were legally restrictive. and id encourage covil disobedience anyways.
He'd better not enforce it on businesses. Not only is that straight up authoritarian but it ignores all the other venues for large gatherings. Business is bad enough where I work right now, we don't need to be shutting down.
It’s also smart. We need to keep people away from each other right now. My wife works in this industry and she’s fine with it. She normally deals with 300-500 different people a day.
In the press conference on Friday they also said they will be working with all businesses impacted by the shutdowns to make up for their losses.
disagreed. when 60 ppl have died nationwide from covid compared to 20,000-50,000 for the flu, this is a way overblown measure and unecessary intrusion of government, whether stare or federal.
if they want to be reasonable, do it on behalf of the flu virus, but then justify why its being done this year and not in other years.
Was this an order or advisement ?
