Don't stop praying, but also don't let yourself be spooked by the modern day prophets of doom in the media. We live in a time of enormous religious freedom, prayer is re-entering public discourse, conservative values are gaining momentum and less people are dying from war, starvation or illness than any period in history.

There definitely seems to be something sinister and organised about this over reaction, but the world itself still seems an awful long way from what we see in revelations. At least as best I can interpret.

taken to account and noted, just wanted to see people's POV because i don't hear a lot of people speak of a subject. i also calm myself down with that, NO ONE can really know when times are coming, but when puzzle pieces start to make the picture all i am left with is guessing. i guess i shouldn't be so scared because i am religious, but what a show!!

The upside to this panic, if any, is Ive seen a few lapsed friends return to prayer. When times are good and people are fooled into their own certainty, it is easy to forget our reliance on God.
