I think that we teeter at the brink. I have a hard time envisioning some sort of reconciliation, or a "return to normalcy." As soon as the Democrats regain the reigns of power, we may as well just roll over...or seek other remedies.
The problem is that the damage has already been done... the 2020 census is going to see an enormous power shift from red to blue states because of the tens of millions of illegals that will be counted in the census. Red states are going to lose electoral votes and seats in the house to blue states because of it. The democrats are putting all their chips in on being able to win through the electoral college from here on out. Trump did well to stop the flow of new illegals, but we needed federal laws in place to exclude illegal aliens from the census.
The only thing they want is to destroy our Republic and replace it with their own socialist utopia.
