ignoring a problem doesn't make it go away.

the fearmongering is bad an scary but at the end of the day:

there is no food in my US city. online good orders i had have been cancelled this morning. the stock market is closed. air travel from most non-us places is banned. domestical flights are slowly being cancelled. most places are actually closed. people are accepting the government take over of various thing, nyc mayor just said this morning he plans to take over hospitals and medication, unopposed.

also since theres no food right now, time to use my prep food. didn't think this would happen.

there is very little food. itll fill back in a day or two im sure but today and yesterday were pretty shit. a colleague went to the office and picked leftovers from the office fridge. a very fat girl was crying on the street because she had no food, telling someone on the phone how she cannot handle this.

interesting days.

That's what you should be really afraid of.

Absent the PANIC which is manufactured, you wouldn't have to worry about the other problems.
